Friday Evening brought the 2021 season to a close. Forrester Park hosted the Maldon Croquet Club awards evening. After a delightful meal organised by Mary, thanks were given to the form Chairperson, Gill Stone in thanks of her time given over the years that the club has been based at Forrester Park.
Events then proceeded onto the trophy presentations for tournament winners. Georgie Clark Memorial Vase – Michael Larger, The Forrester Plate Doubles – Roger Pond and Graham Parker & finally, The Covid Handicap Trophy – Tony White. Award presentations were followed by a raffle with prizes donated by members.
